NDT Level 2/3 Instructor & Examiner – Filton, Bristol

About the role

We are seeking an experienced NDT Level 2 or Level 3 Instructor/Examiner to deliver high‑quality training at our BINDT‑approved school in Filton, Bristol, and to carry out inspections across multiple NDT methods.

Key responsibilities

• Train internal and external candidates in Ultrasonic, Phased Array, Eddy Current, Penetrant, Magnetic Particle and Digital Radiographic testing.
• Invigilate, examine and mark examinations, ensuring BINDT standards are met.
• Support training administration, including scoping, pricing, contract review and exam preparation.
• Manage training equipment and consumables, coordinating with procurement.
• Maintain Level 2/3 EN4179 certification and visual‑acuity certification, upgrading when required.
• Ensure compliance with BINDT requirements and assist with internal and external audits.
• Develop coursework and examination materials, and build relationships with training partners.
• Support the sales team by engaging potential customers and travelling nationally and internationally as needed.

Required profile

• EN4179 Level 2 qualification (Level 3 desirable) in at least one NDT method.
• Visual Acuity performance certificate (or ability to obtain).
• Evidence of instructional‑technique training or teaching certification.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑moving environment.
