About the role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our growing engineering business in Stockport. This hands‑on role works closely with senior leadership to improve processes, drive operational performance and build a scalable operation for future growth.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement operational strategies.
• Analyse and improve existing processes and systems to increase efficiency.
• Monitor and manage key performance indicators and commercial targets.
• Lead and develop operational teams, ensuring clear communication and effective execution.
• Support the scaling of operations to meet future business growth.

Required profile

• Operations management experience within engineering, manufacturing or field service.
• Strong commercial awareness and KPI management experience.
• Proven track record of improving operational processes and systems.
• Hands‑on approach with excellent leadership and communication skills.
