About the role
The Parking Officer will join a dedicated team handling Parking Charge Notice (PCN) appeals, focusing on School Street representations (contravention code 53). This hybrid position combines office work in London with remote days, offering a balanced work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Process and assess School Street representation appeals in line with current parking legislation.
- Maintain accurate records of each case and ensure timely responses.
- Meet both qualitative and quantitative performance targets.
- Prioritise a demanding workload with minimal supervision.
- Communicate decisions clearly, both verbally and in plain written form.
Required profile
- Strong knowledge of UK parking legislation.
- Proven experience in processing representations and appeals.
- Ability to work independently while managing a high‑volume workload.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Sound decision‑making aligned with legal standards.
Required skills
- Understanding of parking enforcement procedures.
- Familiarity with PCN appeal systems.
