Parking Officer – PCN Appeals (Hybrid)

About the role

The Parking Officer will join a dedicated team handling Parking Charge Notice (PCN) appeals, focusing on School Street representations (contravention code 53). This hybrid position combines office work in London with remote days, offering a balanced work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Process and assess School Street representation appeals in line with current parking legislation.
• Maintain accurate records of each case and ensure timely responses.
• Meet both qualitative and quantitative performance targets.
• Prioritise a demanding workload with minimal supervision.
• Communicate decisions clearly, both verbally and in plain written form.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of UK parking legislation.
• Proven experience in processing representations and appeals.
• Ability to work independently while managing a high‑volume workload.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Sound decision‑making aligned with legal standards.

Required skills

• Understanding of parking enforcement procedures.
• Familiarity with PCN appeal systems.
