Part‑Qualified Management Accountant – Manufacturing

About the role

Robert Half is seeking a motivated, part‑qualified Management Accountant to join a fast‑growing manufacturing business in Wetherby. You will work closely with the Head of Finance and operations teams to deliver accurate financial reporting and support commercial decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and variance analysis.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cost‑price reporting.
• Produce and analyse costings, stock reports and manufacturing performance data.
• Reconcile balance‑sheet accounts, investigate discrepancies and handle accruals, pre‑payments and journal entries.
• Monitor inventory movements and support stock accounting processes.
• Partner with operational teams to provide financial insight.
• Help improve financial controls, reporting processes and systems.
• Support year‑end audit and statutory reporting requirements.

Required profile

• Part‑qualified ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a management accountant or assistant accountant role.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Proactive, organised and able to meet deadlines.
