Part‑time Van Driver – Southampton

About the role

Join Medina Food Service, part of Sysco GB, as a part‑time Van Driver based in Millbrook, Southampton. You will work 30 hours a week, Monday to Saturday, starting at 06:30 am, delivering food orders while maintaining product temperatures.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately pick and load customer orders into a multi‑temperature‑controlled van.
• Deliver orders to customer premises, ensuring timely service.
• Maintain vehicle roadworthiness by completing DVSA compliance checks.
• Handle food produce safely, adhering to health, safety and hygiene regulations.

Required profile

• Valid car licence (no HGV required).
• Strong knowledge of the local Southampton area.
• Proactive attitude with a commitment to high‑standard customer service.
• Ability to follow established processes and work shift patterns.

Required skills

• Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) compliance awareness.
• Manual handling of food items.
