About the role

Join a leading actuarial consultancy in London as a Pensions Actuarial Consultant. You will work on a diverse portfolio of defined‑benefit pension schemes, delivering high‑quality advice and supporting clients through complex funding and de‑risking projects.

Key responsibilities

• Support actuarial valuations and pension scheme funding work.
• Provide advice on scheme funding, risk management and de‑risking strategies.
• Assist with bulk annuity transactions, including buy‑ins and buy‑outs.
• Prepare reports, calculations and client deliverables.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with trustees and clients.
• Support senior consultants across a range of actuarial projects.

Required profile

• Experience within pensions actuarial consulting.
• Strong understanding of defined benefit pension schemes.
• Progress towards actuarial qualifications is desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
