Personal Tax Senior – Private Client Team

About the role

We are seeking a Personal Tax Senior to join a leading accountancy and advisory firm’s private client team in London. The role offers a hybrid working model and a clear progression path towards Assistant Manager, working closely with experienced managers and partners on a diverse portfolio of high‑net‑worth individuals and businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of a portfolio of private clients, acting as the primary day‑to‑day contact.
• Prepare and review complex self‑assessment tax returns and related tax computations.
• Support partnership tax matters, including the preparation of partnership returns where applicable.
• Advise clients on compliance obligations, legislative changes and tax planning opportunities.
• Collaborate with clients to understand personal and business changes and assess tax implications.
• Deliver work efficiently, accurately and in line with internal risk and compliance procedures.
• Assist partners and managers on ad‑hoc advisory projects as the portfolio develops.

Required profile

• ATT qualified (or equivalent) and actively studying towards CTA qualification.
• Current experience within a UK accountancy practice, preferably in private client/personal tax compliance.
• Strong background in serving high‑net‑worth individuals, entrepreneurs and business owners.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commercial, client‑focused mindset.
• Motivated to progress a career within a reputable private client team.
