Policyholder Tax Consultant – Finance & Tax Operations

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Policyholder Tax Consultant within the Finance and Tax Operations team at Atos Group. The role is suited to candidates with experience in financial services, pensions, or policyholder tax who enjoy working with data, regulations and cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily activities for tax data submissions to third parties and HMRC.
• Sample and review work processed within Customer Services to ensure compliance with HMRC rules for financial transactions.
• Perform reconciliations for tax payable to HMRC, agree tax liabilities and facilitate payment of taxes.
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of returns for pension and bond products to HMRC.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with stakeholders in Customer Service and other business units.
• Plan and manage individual workload effectively.
• Build and maintain technical knowledge relevant to policyholder (operational) taxes.
• Support the Policyholder Tax team by providing technical support, analysis and guidance to other areas on tax operations for pensions and bond products.

Required profile

• Experience in financial services, pensions or policyholder tax.
• Strong numerical, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Attention to detail with a focus on regulatory compliance.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and commitments.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritising tasks effectively.
• Skilled at analysing large volumes of information.
• Understanding of pension products, bond investments and related tax aspects.
• Eligibility for BPSS clearance (continuous UK residence/work for the past 3 years).
