Postperson with Driving

About the role

Join Royal Mail as a Postperson with Driving and become a vital part of the community’s daily life. You will deliver letters, parcels and other items across Wincanton and surrounding areas, working on a rotating schedule that includes weekdays, Saturdays and occasional Sundays.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, sort and deliver mail and parcels on assigned routes.
• Operate a company vehicle safely, adhering to traffic regulations.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain signatures where required.
• Provide friendly, professional service to customers at each doorstep.
• Ensure vehicle cleanliness and report any maintenance issues.

Required profile

• Upbeat, independent and self‑motivated.
• Organised, punctual and committed to excellent customer service.
• Comfortable walking for long periods and working outdoors in any weather.
• Strong sense of community and pride in the role.
• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than six penalty points.

Required skills

• Full UK manual driving licence (≤6 penalty points).
