Primary Teacher (Key Stage 1) – Woking

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Primary Teacher for Key Stage 1 to join a friendly, one‑form entry primary school in Woking. The successful candidate will help nurture every child’s potential and contribute to a collaborative, child‑centred environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess engaging KS1 lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Foster positive relationships with pupils, supporting their social and emotional development.
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of children with SEND.
• Maintain excellent classroom practice and manage behaviour effectively.
• Communicate progress and collaborate with parents, colleagues and senior leadership.

Required profile

• Passionate, adaptive and highly motivated classroom teacher.
• Experience teaching primary pupils, preferably with SEND experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a sense of humour.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
