About the role
We are recruiting a Primary Teacher for Year 4 at an outstanding primary school in Hatfield, starting in September 2026. The position is permanent, full‑time and based on‑site.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons for Key Stage 1/2 pupils.
- Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment.
- Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with the senior leadership team and fellow staff to support school initiatives.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Good understanding of the KS1 and/or KS2 curriculum.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management abilities.
- Passion for fostering an inclusive and inspiring atmosphere.
- Positive attitude and ability to serve as a role model.
