About the role
We are seeking a motivated Private Client Paralegal to join a well‑known regional firm in Cambridgeshire. The role offers a blend of legal work and client interaction within the Private Client department, with the flexibility to work remotely part of the week.
Key responsibilities
- Support fee‑earners in preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney and wills, providing inheritance tax (IHT) guidance.
- Administer estates and trusts, handling documentation and compliance.
- Prepare and submit deputyship applications.
- Contribute to business development initiatives for the department.
- Manage a full caseload with minimal supervision.
Required profile
- Ambitious, dedicated and able to work independently.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple cases.
- Experience or exposure to private client law is desirable.
Required skills
- Knowledge of private client matters including LPAs, wills, IHT advice, estate administration, trusts and deputyship applications.
