Production Operator – Manufacturing (Temp)

About the role

We are looking for Production Operators to join a busy manufacturing environment at a Component Manufacturing Facility and Valve Assembly department in Clitheroe. The role is full‑time temporary, working rotating weekly shifts and involves assembling, pressing and washing components for aerosol valves and cans while operating automated equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate automated production and assembly equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assemble, press, and wash components according to production requirements.
• Follow detailed written work instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Complete production documentation in real time, complying with GMP standards.
• Carry out routine safety checks and maintain excellent housekeeping.
• Monitor machinery during runs to ensure optimal performance and product quality.
• Report quality, safety, or operational issues promptly to the Production or Group Leader.
• Participate in shift handovers, communicating machine status and ongoing work.
• Adhere to all site policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and teamwork.

What we offer

• Pay rate of £15.88 per hour, rising to £17.25 after 12 weeks.
• Rotating weekly shifts (6 am‑2 pm or 1:45 pm‑9:45 pm).
