Project Officer – Pray, Grow, Serve 2035

About the role
The Diocese of Exeter is seeking a Project Officer to support its Pray, Grow, Serve 2035 strategy. This role will coordinate project activities, gather insights, and provide administrative support to clergy and lay staff funded through the programme.
Key responsibilities
- Manage project plans using Microsoft Planner.
- Process and monitor budgets in Microsoft Excel.
- Collect data and stories that demonstrate progress against the strategy.
- Organise meetings, prepare minutes and ensure clear communication across departments.
- Support occasional travel throughout Devon, including occasional evenings and weekends.
Required profile
- Organised and personable with confidence using digital tools.
- Recent graduate from any discipline or an individual returning to work after a career break.
- Motivated by long‑term mission and community impact.

What we offer
- Hybrid working – office base in Exeter with home‑working flexibility.
- Full‑time hours (36.25 per week) on a three‑year fixed‑term contract.
- Salary of £27,000 per annum.
