Property Consultant – Lettings

About the role

Join an award‑winning estate agency as a Property Consultant specialising in residential and student lettings. You will manage enquiries, conduct viewings, progress tenancies and build strong relationships with landlords and applicants.

Key responsibilities

• Manage residential lettings enquiries and delegated student lettings enquiries.
• Monitor the main inbox, register applicants and arrange viewings.
• Conduct property viewings and proactively follow up to secure offers.
• Manage property access, keys and viewing logistics.
• Qualify landlord enquiries and schedule valuation appointments.
• Keep landlords updated on feedback, market activity and offers.
• Present offers and clearly communicate conditions to relevant teams.
• Support tenancy progression from offer acceptance through to move‑in.
• Coordinate with Project and Property Management teams to ensure properties are ready for tenants.
• Arrange cleaning, inventories, photography, floorplans and other marketing requirements.
• Maintain accurate property advertisements across marketing portals.
• Support compliance requirements, including Right to Rent, landlord documentation and lettings legislation.
• Ensure properties meet readiness standards (keys, alarms, etc.).
• Assist the wider team during busy periods, including student lettings operations.

Required profile

• Previous experience in residential lettings or a closely related property role.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Confidence conducting viewings and dealing with applicants and landlords.
• Strong negotiation and influencing abilities.
• High level of organisation and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
• Proactive, solutions‑focused approach with commercial awareness.
• Professional and personable demeanor.
• Ability to work collaboratively while taking responsibility for own workload.
• Full UK driving licence.
