Property Manager – Hybrid Working & Career Progression

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Property Manager to join a respected independent estate agency in South East England. The role offers hybrid working, ongoing training and a clear pathway for career development while managing a portfolio of residential properties.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of residential rental properties throughout the tenancy lifecycle.
• Handle maintenance enquiries from tenants via phone and email.
• Liaise with landlords, providing regular updates and professional advice.
• Coordinate contractors, arrange access for repairs, maintenance and quotations, and ensure issues are resolved efficiently.
• Maintain property compliance, including gas safety, electrical inspections, EPCs, smoke alarms and other statutory requirements.
• Keep accurate records and update internal property management systems.
• Review property inspection reports, check‑outs and deposit releases.
• Support landlord payments and accounts administration where required.

Required profile

• Previous experience in residential lettings or property management.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Strong organisational skills and the capacity to manage a busy workload.
• Positive, proactive and solution‑focused attitude.
• Ability to work accurately in a fast‑paced environment.
• Full UK driving licence.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using property management systems.
