Property Manager – Residential Lettings

About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Property Manager to join a well‑established residential lettings business in Banbury. You will take ownership of a portfolio of homes, delivering exceptional service to landlords and tenants throughout the tenancy lifecycle while working within a supportive, collaborative team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of residential properties across Banbury and surrounding areas.
• Support tenants throughout the tenancy process, from application and move‑in to check‑out and deposit return.
• Coordinate property maintenance works, liaising with contractors and monitoring quality standards.
• Conduct routine and ad‑hoc property inspections, produce reports and arrange follow‑up actions.
• Handle check‑ins, check‑outs, tenancy renewals and deposit returns in line with current legislation.
• Maintain accurate property records and ensure compliance with legal and safety requirements.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with landlords and tenants, resolving issues effectively.
• Collaborate with colleagues to improve operational processes and participate in the out‑of‑hours emergency phone rota.

Required profile

• Previous experience in property management or residential lettings.
• Strong understanding of tenancy legislation and property compliance.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• ARLA/Propertymark qualification desirable or willingness to work towards accreditation.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
