About the role

Prospero Teaching is seeking a qualified teacher to deliver GCSE‑level Maths and English tuition on a part‑time, flexible basis. This temporary position allows you to support young learners while fitting around your existing commitments.

Key responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum‑aligned lessons for GCSE Maths and English.
Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of diverse learners, including those with additional learning needs.
Monitor student progress, set realistic targets and provide constructive feedback.
Maintain a positive, motivating learning environment.

Required profile

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
Experience teaching Maths and/or English at secondary GCSE level.
Strong subject knowledge and ability to differentiate lessons.
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) and right to work in the UK.

Required skills

QTS certification.
