Qualified Optometrist – Full‑time, £65k, South West England

About the role
We are seeking a qualified, GOC‑registered Optometrist to join our team across three Specsavers stores in Chippenham, Devizes and Melksham. You will deliver high‑quality eye care, support customers in choosing the right eyewear, and contribute to a friendly, community‑focused environment.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments.
- Prescribe glasses, contact lenses and other corrective solutions.
- Provide professional advice on eye health and product options.
- Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with GOC standards.
- Collaborate with store staff and assist across the three locations as needed.
Required profile
- Qualified Optometrist registered with the General Optical Council.
- Confident, strong work ethic and motivated to succeed.
- Team‑oriented, willing to go the extra mile for colleagues and customers.
Required skills

- Prescription of corrective lenses

- Salary up to £65,000 per year.
- 33 days holiday plus birthday off and alternate weekend working.
