Qualified Secondary Teacher – Flexible Supply Roles

About the role
Vida Education is seeking qualified secondary teachers to provide supply cover across a range of secondary schools in Barrow-in-Furness and the surrounding area. The role offers flexible, day‑to‑day assignments with the potential for short‑term, long‑term or permanent placement.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality lessons in assigned subject(s) across various secondary schools.
- Adapt quickly to different school environments and timetables.
- Maintain classroom discipline and manage student behaviour effectively.
- Collaborate with school staff to support pupils’ learning and progress.
- Participate in any required school safeguarding and safeguarding training.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (QTLS).
- Experience teaching in UK secondary schools.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) and registration on the Update Service.
- Passion for supporting young people’s learning and development.
