Quantitative Trading & Research – Strategic Indices (Associate/VP)

About the role

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking an experienced Quantitative Researcher to join the Strategic Indices Quantitative Trading & Research team in London. The role sits at the intersection of quantitative research, trading and technology, delivering systematic trading strategies and investable indices across multiple asset classes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, deploy and maintain algorithmic trading strategies and investable indices.
• Collaborate with Structuring, Trading and Technology partners worldwide to design and enhance systematic strategies.
• Expand and support the risk‑management platform used by traders to hedge indices.
• Build foundational infrastructure for new product offerings and improve operational efficiency.
• Provide risk analysis, investigations and performance attribution for production trading strategies.

Required profile

• Strong quantitative background.
• Hands‑on programming expertise.
• Ability to work collaboratively across global teams.
• Experience in systematic trading strategy lifecycle from research to production.
