Quantity Surveyor – Oxford (Hybrid)

About the role

We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team in Oxford. The role is based at Oxford Station with remote working available and occasional visits to the office. It is a full‑time position of 45 hours per week, with some flexibility on working hours. Please note that we are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship for this role.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly payment applications to clients and manage the certification process.
• Manage subcontractor procurement, accounts and valuations.
• Work collaboratively with project teams to ensure commercial aspects are understood and recorded.
• Handle change control, early warnings and compensation events in a timely manner.
• Monitor project performance using cost reconciliation and earned value metrics.

Required profile

• Proven experience working as a Quantity Surveyor in a similar industry.
• Ability to work independently, managing subcontractor accounts and preparing valuations.
• Good understanding of contract conditions, especially obligations, variations and payment terms.
