R&D Test Technician – Powertrain Validation

About the role

Join Red Bull Powertrains as a Test Technician in the Powertrain R&D Test and Validation Department. Based at the state‑of‑the‑art Red Bull Technology Campus, you will work hands‑on with a variety of powertrain components and full vehicle setups, ensuring performance, reliability and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine sign‑off, inspection and validation of powertrain components and assemblies.
• Build test rigs and installations from technical drawings and specifications.
• Maintain and support dynos, test equipment and associated facilities to maximise uptime.
• Accurately record, analyse and communicate routine test data.
• Follow and promote strict health and safety procedures.
• Maintain business‑critical documentation with exceptional accuracy.

Required profile

• Experience in a technician role within Formula 1, high‑level motorsport, or an OEM environment.
• Proven ability to work flexibly and effectively under time pressure.
• Proactive, solution‑focused approach to technical problem solving.
• Strong IT skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
