About the role
Barclays is seeking a Real Estate Credit Sanctioner for its UKCB Credit Risk team. The role involves sanctioning within personal lending authority, presenting to senior sanctioners and leading key technology‑focused projects.
Key responsibilities
- Sanction real estate credit proposals and present decisions to senior sanctioners.
- Lead technology‑focused projects, including model development and regulatory initiatives.
- Conduct due‑diligence on sanctions alerts and ensure compliance with sanctions standards.
- Provide guidance on complex sanctions investigations and manage escalation processes.
Required profile
- Experience in corporate and SPV real estate lending and credit analysis.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to challenge proposals and structure solutions.
- Attention to detail and high standards of control.
