Real Estate Tax Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Real Estate Tax Manager to join a leading accountancy practice in central London. The role will involve managing a growing portfolio of real‑estate clients, particularly Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), and delivering tax advisory and compliance services from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior staff on tax advisory projects, including deal structuring, transaction support and due diligence.
• Provide specialist advice on real‑estate corporate tax compliance, with a focus on REITs.
• Oversee and review the work of tax seniors and trainees, manage team assignments and ensure quality standards.
• Contribute to complex tax advisory and compliance projects for large property groups, funds, partnerships and non‑resident landlords.
• Address clients' commercial and strategic concerns while maintaining risk‑management standards.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA, CA or CTA qualified.
• Strong awareness of specialist taxes and their application in the real‑estate sector.
• Excellent project‑management abilities and experience working across borders.
• High commercial awareness to add value for clients.

Required skills

• Tax advisory and compliance expertise.
• Real‑estate tax knowledge, especially REITs.
• Deal structuring and due‑diligence experience.
• Team leadership and review of junior work.
