Receptionist – Regional Guest Services Ambassador

About the role

Portico is looking for a friendly and proactive Receptionist (Regional Guest Services Ambassador) to join its Birmingham office. Working full‑time, you will be the first point of contact for staff and visitors, delivering a high‑standard, engaging service while supporting office operations and hospitality functions.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome employees, clients and visitors, managing the front‑desk phone system.
• Coordinate and facilitate meeting‑room bookings, set‑ups and related hospitality services.
• Perform light hospitality duties such as furniture moves, kitchen tasks, and replenishing vending and tea points.
• Assist in organising and hosting internal events and occasional out‑of‑hours functions.
• Anticipate client needs and ensure expectations are exceeded with every interaction.

Required profile

• Friendly, positive attitude with strong organisational and communication skills.
• High level of personal presentation and a proactive, ownership‑driven approach.
• Customer‑focused mindset with experience delivering top‑level service in a high‑expectation environment.
• Ability to solve problems quickly and work flexibly within a team.
