Recruitment Consultant – Accountancy & Finance (Sussex)

About the role

Reed is seeking a motivated Recruitment Consultant to lead its Accountancy & Finance division in Sussex. You will act as the primary point of contact for finance‑focused clients, driving new business and managing the full recruitment lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and nurture relationships with accountancy and finance clients across Sussex.
• Generate new business opportunities and expand existing account partnerships.
• Source, interview and place high‑calibre finance professionals.
• Manage the end‑to‑end recruitment process, from vacancy briefing to offer negotiation.
• Build a strong local network and become a trusted recruitment partner in the market.
• Collaborate with a supportive, high‑performing team to achieve targets.

Required profile

• Previous recruitment experience is highly advantageous, or a proven track record in sales, business development or account management.
• Commercially driven with excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Resilient, motivated and results‑focused mindset.
• Passion for delivering exceptional service to both clients and candidates.
