Recruitment Consultant – US Market (Bristol)

About the role

Altius Talent is seeking a Recruitment Consultant to focus on the United States market. Based in Bristol, you will work on‑site Monday to Thursday and remotely on Fridays, helping clients fill permanent operational, sales and senior positions across the US.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with US‑based clients and candidates.
• Source, interview and present qualified professionals for a range of roles.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from brief to placement.
• Develop new business opportunities within the US market.
• Grow a specialist desk with long‑term earning potential.

Required profile

• Minimum six months experience in agency recruitment.
• Confidence communicating with both candidates and corporate clients.
• Commercial mindset with an interest in business development.
• Strong organisational and follow‑up skills.
• Motivation to build a market rather than simply process vacancies.

Required skills

• Base salary £27,000–£32,000 plus uncapped commission (up to 30%).
