Recycling and Refuse Loader

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Recycling and Refuse Loader to join our waste collection team in Hounslow. The role involves supporting daily refuse and recycling operations from Monday to Friday, working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Load bins and bags onto refuse vehicles efficiently.
• Collect litter, deliver bins, and perform curb‑side collection of general waste, green waste and food waste.
• Walk long distances during each shift, handling frequent bending and lifting.
• Assist with green‑waste and food‑waste collection routes.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines.

Required profile

• Physically fit and able to perform repetitive lifting, bending and walking.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Team‑oriented with the ability to work independently when required.
• Reliability and punctuality for a Monday‑to‑Friday schedule.

• Competitive hourly rate of £14.25 (up to £14.25 per hour).
