Regional Financial Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Regional Financial Accountant to join the London‑based finance team of a highly successful international organisation operating across Europe. The role offers exposure to multi‑entity financial reporting, statutory compliance and a variety of finance transformation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting cycles.
• Review statutory accounts and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards.
• Analyse balance sheets, investigate variances and complete accurate reconciliations.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow reporting processes.
• Collaborate with local finance teams to improve reporting quality, consistency and efficiency.
• Support audit, compliance and risk‑management activities across multiple entities.
• Partner with group finance, tax, legal and treasury teams on reporting requirements and data requests.
• Contribute to finance transformation and process‑improvement projects.
• Review and approve journals, payments and intercompany transactions where appropriate.
• Act as a key point of contact for finance stakeholders across the European region.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Strong financial reporting and statutory accounting experience.
• Solid technical accounting background, preferably transitioning from practice to industry.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, international environment.
• Notice period of two months or less.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Experience with accounting systems.
