Registered Manager – Learning Disabilities (Supported Living)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead our Supported Living service for adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions, physical disabilities, and complex needs at Vincent Place, Stevenage. You will champion person‑centred care, empower staff, and ensure high‑quality support that promotes independence.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the service, ensuring safety and quality standards.
• Recruit, develop, supervise, and manage performance of all staff members.
• Handle referrals, conduct assessments of need, and create person‑centred support plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external professionals to deliver holistic care.
• Drive continuous improvement, regulatory compliance, and positive outcomes for service users.

Required profile

• Registered Manager qualification with proven experience in learning disabilities or supported living settings.
• Strong leadership and team‑development skills.
• Commitment to person‑centred, high‑quality care.
• Ability to work collaboratively with external agencies and stakeholders.

Required skills

• Knowledge of UK regulatory frameworks for health and social care.
• Experience in performance management and staff supervision.
• Proficiency in developing and reviewing care plans.
