Residential Conveyancer – £50,000+ (DOE)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join our growing Swindon office. The successful candidate will manage a varied residential property caseload and contribute to the continued expansion of the department.

Key responsibilities

• Handle freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity and new‑build transactions.
• Maintain regular communication with clients throughout each transaction.
• Collaborate with estate agents, mortgage brokers, lenders and other legal professionals to ensure smooth progress.
• Develop and nurture relationships with referrers to support business growth.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years post‑qualification experience as a Solicitor, Legal Executive or equivalent in residential conveyancing.
• Proven ability to manage a busy, varied caseload independently.
• Excellent organisational skills and the capacity to prioritise competing deadlines.
• Strong communication and client‑care abilities.
• Proactive attitude with enthusiasm for business development.

Required skills

• Residential property law knowledge.
