Residential Surveyor – Hybrid, £55k+ OTE

About the role

Experienced in residential surveying and looking for your next career opportunity in the Luton area? We're recruiting for an experienced Residential Surveyor to join an established and growing property and surveying business. The organisation provides a range of property surveying, valuation and advisory services, with a strong focus on professional standards, client service and continued development.

Key responsibilities

• Undertake Mortgage Valuations, Level 2 and Level 3 residential surveys
• Conduct valuations, including private valuations, in accordance with RICS standards
• Carry out residential and/or commercial property inspections
• Complete Homebuyer and Building Surveys
• Provide professional advice and support directly to clients
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, legislation and professional guidelines
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of service delivery and client satisfaction
• Manage your own workload effectively and meet required deadlines
• Travel to properties and client locations as required
• Develop your Building Survey experience, with training available where required

Required profile

• A degree in Surveying or a related discipline
• AssocRICS or MRICS status, or actively working towards membership
• VRS qualification or experience
• Strong technical knowledge of property construction and defects
• Experience undertaking residential surveys and valuations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
• Professional and client‑focused approach
• Full clean UK driving licence
