Residential Surveyor – Part‑time Consultancy

About the role

We are seeking an experienced RICS Registered Valuer to join a well‑established residential surveying practice covering Exeter and the wider Devon area. This part‑time consultancy offers a flexible schedule of at least two days per week, with a steady flow of assignments and strong administrative support.

Key responsibilities

• Undertake mortgage valuations for a range of lender clients.
• Conduct RICS Level 2 Home Surveys and Level 3 Building Surveys.
• Produce accurate, professional reports that meet RICS standards and lender requirements.
• Manage your own diary and workload efficiently.
• Deliver excellent customer service throughout inspections and reporting.
• Maintain compliance with all relevant professional and regulatory standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Required profile

• AssocRICS or MRICS qualification with VRS status.
• Proven experience in mortgage valuations and RICS Level 2/3 surveys.
• Strong knowledge of residential property construction and common defects.
• Excellent report writing and communication abilities.
• Highly organised, self‑motivated and professional approach.
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle.
