Semi Senior Accountant

About the role

We are a dynamic, growing accountancy practice looking for an enthusiastic and detail‑oriented Semi Senior Accountant. The successful candidate will be working towards an ACA or ACCA qualification and will bring at least three years of experience in an accountancy practice.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Prepare VAT, corporation tax and personal tax returns.
• Advise and resolve queries for a portfolio of clients promptly.
• Collaborate with client managers and Senior Accountants to manage workloads and meet deadlines.
• Mentor and support junior team members.
• Maintain high technical standards and attention to detail.
• Build and sustain strong client relationships.

Required profile

• Studying towards ACA or ACCA qualification.
• Minimum three years of practice experience.
• Strong technical proficiency and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, self‑motivated with a problem‑solving mindset.
