Senior Acoustic Consultant

About the role

Our client, a rapidly expanding national consultancy, is seeking a Senior Acoustic Consultant to lead building acoustics work on a variety of projects across the UK and internationally. The role will involve providing specialist acoustic input, supporting business development and contributing to the growth of the acoustic practice.

Key responsibilities

• Provide acoustic input to building and engineering projects.
• Attend design team meetings and advise architects and engineers on acoustics, noise and vibration.
• Assist with business development activities and client relationship management.
• Resolve complex acoustical engineering issues and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
• Contribute to business expansion through networking, presentations and client nurturing.

Required profile

• Degree qualified in Acoustics, Noise and Vibration or a related discipline.
• Proven building acoustics experience in an acoustics consultancy, covering schools, commercial and residential developments.
• Full, clean UK driving licence preferred.
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Numerate, literate and proficient with IT and relevant software.
• Good working knowledge of relevant codes of practice and industry standards.
• Commercial awareness, attention to detail and high motivation.
