Senior Android Developer – Mobile Security

About the role

We are looking for a self‑motivated Senior Android Engineer to join our mobile security team. You will help build and maintain a suite of security components that protect the bank’s mobile applications and services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver Android security components and services.
• Collaborate with strategy and stakeholder teams to define architecture and implementation plans.
• Ensure code quality, performance, and scalability across a modularised codebase.
• Conduct offline storage, threading, and performance optimisation.
• Participate in UI testing and continuous improvement of the mobile security posture.

Required profile

• Senior‑level Android developer with a strong security mindset.
• Proven ability to work independently and drive projects from concept to production.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder management.

• Android SDK and UI design principles.
• Offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
• Git version control.
• SOLID principles.
• MVVM / MVI architecture, Android Architecture Components.
