Senior Audit Associate – £45k-£58k – Hybrid

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Audit Associate to join a leading national practice in Kent. The role offers hybrid working, a fast‑track progression path and the chance to work on listed businesses, large corporate groups and owner‑managed companies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead audit fieldwork assignments from planning through to completion.
• Serve as the day‑to‑day contact for a portfolio of clients.
• Collaborate with Managers and Partners on complex audit engagements.
• Prepare and review audit files, identify risks and resolve technical issues.
• Deliver high‑quality financial reporting and audit work across a broad client base.
• Build strong client relationships and provide advisory recommendations.
• Monitor assignment budgets and ensure efficient project delivery.
• Support business development and identify opportunities within existing relationships.
• Coach, mentor and develop junior audit team members.
• Work with tax, advisory and specialist teams to deliver a seamless client experience.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification (or final stages of studies).
• Strong audit experience with exposure to listed businesses and corporate groups.
• Ambitious attitude with a desire to progress to management.
• Excellent communication and client‑facing skills.
