Senior BI Analyst (Business Intelligence)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior BI Analyst to join a leading retail brand in Slough that is undergoing rapid growth and technology transformation. You will ensure commercial reporting, dashboards, and analytical insights are accurate, meaningful, and easily accessible for decision‑makers.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse commercial performance across stores, online channels and product categories to identify sales, margin and customer opportunities.
• Own and deliver weekly commercial insight reports for the leadership team, covering KPIs such as sales, margin, stock levels and profitability.
• Develop and maintain reporting solutions using Power BI, Jet Analytics and Report Builder.
• Write and optimise SQL queries to extract data from retail, sales, customer and supply‑chain systems.
• Support the rollout of Microsoft Business Central by designing and validating reporting structures.
• Build scalable data models, dashboards and automated reporting using SQL Server, Power BI, Jet Analytics and Azure DevOps.

Required profile

• Proven experience working with complex retail data sets.
• Strong ability to translate data into clear commercial insight for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Senior‑level expertise in data modelling, reporting and BI best practices.
