Senior Commercial Finance Business Partner

About the role

We are seeking a commercially‑minded Senior Commercial Finance Business Partner to join our Group Finance team. Working closely with the Partnerships Director, you will influence performance across external partnerships, new business development, claims, ancillary products and core product trading.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior stakeholders to analyse trading performance, commercial drivers and key risks/opportunities.
• Support delivery of budget targets for volume, EBITDA and overall trading performance.
• Provide robust forecasting, commercial insight and financial modelling to inform strategic decisions.
• Drive pricing optimisation, commercial initiatives and cost/value opportunities.
• Produce consistent trading reports and analysis across distribution channels.
• Assist with process improvement, simplification and transition to group Anaplan reporting.
• Build strong relationships across Finance, internal trading teams and external partners.
• Support M&A due diligence and ad‑hoc information requests as required.

Required profile

• Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA).
• Strong FP&A, commercial finance or business partnering experience.
• Advanced Excel skills with proven financial modelling ability.
• Confident communicator able to challenge, influence and build relationships.
• Analytical mindset with a proactive, curious approach.
• Experience partnering with external customers or commercial teams is beneficial.
