Senior Lettings Consultant

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious Senior Lettings Consultant to join our East London branch of haart, the UK’s largest independent property services group. In this senior position you will act as the number‑two to the Branch Manager, driving sales, mentoring the team and building strong landlord and tenant relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with prospective tenants and arrange property viewings that match their requirements.
• Negotiate offers, agree new tenancies and secure instructions in a competitive market.
• Assess and value residential properties for market positioning.
• Market properties using a range of channels and ensure listings comply with health and safety standards.
• Generate new and repeat business through canvassing, door‑knocking and leaflet distribution.
• Mentor junior colleagues and support the Branch Manager in achieving branch targets.

Required profile

• Proven track record of exceeding lettings targets and winning new business.
• Full UK driving licence (manual) and legal right to work in the UK.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to work independently.
• Attention to detail and good telephone manner.

Required skills

• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Understanding of current residential lettings legislation.
