Senior Lister / Valuer – Estate Agency

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Lister / Valuer to join a well‑established multi‑office estate agency in Central Essex. You will be responsible for driving valuations, securing new instructions and expanding the agency’s market share while delivering a high standard of client care.

Key responsibilities

• Obtain property valuations and new instructions to grow the business.
• Prepare and upload marketing material, including portal listings, floor plans and social media content.
• Organise canvassing activities and manage client communications via phone, text and email.
• Accompany viewings, gather feedback and negotiate offers.
• Verify buyer’s financial position, chain information and coordinate with mortgage and conveyancing partners.
• Maintain compliance with Money‑Laundering regulations and ensure complete sales files for progressors.
• Monitor offer progress against monthly targets and identify fresh business opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven sales track record with a minimum of 18 months experience in estate agency.
• Well‑presented with excellent customer service skills.
• Highly motivated, driven and able to work independently.
• Full knowledge of estate agency practice and regulatory compliance.
• Own a car for client visits.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of estate agency processes and valuation techniques.
• Experience in marketing properties across online portals and social media platforms.
• Ability to produce clear, engaging property descriptions and marketing collateral.

What we offer

• Basic salary of £30,000 plus OTE ranging from £65,000 to £75,000 per annum.
• Car allowance of £3,000 per year.
• Standard working hours: Monday‑Friday 9am‑6pm, Saturday 9am‑6pm with one day off during the week.
