About the role
Our client, a leading international accountancy firm in Central London, is seeking a Senior Payroll & Accounts Administrator. This hybrid position splits time evenly between payroll processing and bookkeeping/accounting duties, offering a varied and dynamic workday.
Key responsibilities
- Process end‑to‑end payroll for a portfolio of around 100 companies.
- Handle student loan deductions, maternity pay, statutory sick pay (SSP) and pension administration.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Run monthly payroll for small limited companies and larger clients with up to 100 employees.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years experience at a UK accountancy firm.
- Proven experience in both payroll and bookkeeping/accounts.
- Live within a commutable distance of London.
- Highly organised with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
Required skills
- Proficiency with at least one payroll/accounting package: Xero, QuickBooks, Sage 50 Payroll or BrightPay.
