Senior People Partner - Installs Division

About the role

Hometree Group is looking for a Senior People Partner for its Installs division, covering around 100 colleagues across three parts: southern-based installer businesses in Cornwall and Kent, the central Installs team in London and the remote CORGI HomeHeat boiler installation team. The role reports to the Head of People Partnering and sits on the Installs Senior Management team alongside the Chief Commercial Officer, Director of Operations and Director of Commercial. It is fully remote, with quarterly travel to Cornwall and Kent.

Key responsibilities

• First point of contact for installer management, acting as a sounding board for difficult conversations.
• Sit on the Installs Senior Management team and partner with the Directors of Operations and Commercial on people risk and opportunity.
• Own a People plan for each population, tailored to their actual challenges and recognised as commercially useful.
• Run employee relations end to end, including grievances, capability, performance, absence and incidents in customers' homes.
• Bridge Group and local needs, ensuring frameworks reflect installer reality.
• Work with the Heads of People Operations, Reward and Talent Acquisition on policy, pay bands, hiring and performance frameworks.
• Build manager capability, especially for managers promoted from the trade.
• Own retention, attrition, talent and succession planning, and support resourcing, capacity and skills planning.
• Partner on pay, bonus and incentives in Cornwall and Kent, and on occupational health and wellbeing for field workers.

Required profile

• Experienced people professional with strong employee relations expertise.
• Commercial acumen and a passion for scaling high-performing teams through growth and change.
• A generalist who will get stuck in when the centre is stretched, with autonomy to own populations and make plans.

What we offer

• Salary of £65,000 plus bonus.
