Senior Procurement Manager

About the role

Join an award‑winning NHS procurement team to lead high‑value sourcing and contract management across non‑clinical categories such as estates, facilities, workforce, IT and outsourced services. You will work across Bath, Swindon and Salisbury, partnering with clinical and corporate stakeholders to deliver savings and sustainable value.

Key responsibilities

• Own a non‑pay category portfolio with an addressable spend of around £160 million.
• Develop and execute category plans, run compliant procurements in line with public procurement regulations and local governance.
• Negotiate commercial agreements and secure cash‑releasing savings and value for money.
• Provide expert procurement advice to stakeholders, translating policy into practical guidance.
• Monitor supplier and contract performance using clear KPIs and ensure timely renewal of critical services.

Required profile

• Proven public sector procurement experience.
• Ability to work collaboratively across a large geographical area.
• Commercially minded with strong problem‑solving and influencing skills.
