Senior Project Manager – Business Change (Insurance)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead business change initiatives within a strategic enterprise data platform programme for an established insurance organisation. The role starts as a six‑month contract, with the opportunity to extend as the programme moves from pilot to full rollout.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery of business change initiatives across the enterprise data programme.
• Manage scope, timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies and governance structures.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders to ensure engagement and adoption.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams to achieve programme objectives.
• Produce and maintain project plans, governance reports and steering committee updates.
• Support the transition of the programme from pilot phase to wider implementation.

Required profile

• Proven success delivering complex business change programmes.
• Essential experience in the insurance sector.
• Background in enterprise‑wide transformation or data‑related initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with ability to influence senior leaders.
• Excellent project governance, planning and risk management capabilities.
• Comfortable working within complex, regulated environments.
