Senior Quantity Surveyor – Residential / Mixed‑Use / Student (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking a commercially‑savvy Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a high‑performing residential team in London. You will work on ambitious high‑rise, build‑to‑rent, student and mixed‑use schemes, acting as a key commercial partner from pre‑contract through post‑contract delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cost planning, procurement strategy and contract selection for major residential projects.
• Prepare and manage valuations, variations and financial reporting.
• Advise clients on risk, opportunity and overall commercial performance.
• Drive projects through both pre‑contract and post‑contract phases, resolving contractual issues.
• Support senior stakeholder relationships and act as the trusted commercial voice within project teams.

Required profile

• Established senior quantity surveyor or ambitious project QS ready for a second‑in‑command role.
• Proven experience on large‑scale residential, build‑to‑rent or mixed‑use developments.
• Ability to work independently while delivering high‑visibility outcomes.
