Senior Recruitment Consultant – Procurement & Supply Chain

About the role

Hays is seeking a Senior Recruitment Consultant to join its Procurement & Supply Chain desk in London. Working from a hybrid office in Cheapside, you will leverage Hays' extensive client base and technology platforms to match top procurement talent with leading organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with procurement contacts across London’s public and private sectors.
• Source, assess and present candidates for permanent, contract and strategic procurement roles.
• Drive new business through vacancy fills, PSL agreements, MSP models and RPO contracts.
• Provide market insight to clients on talent availability and hiring trends.
• Support the growth of Hays’ “Women in Procurement” network and related events.

Required profile

• Proven experience in recruitment, preferably within procurement, supply chain or related professional services.
• Strong commercial acumen and a natural sales ability.
• Excellent communication skills and a client‑focused mindset.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with the wider Hays team.

Required skills

• Experience using recruitment CRM/ATS platforms.
• Familiarity with procurement and supply‑chain terminology.
