Senior Registered Building Inspector – Class 2F

About the role

The Senior Registered Building Inspector will advise clients on compliance with the Building Safety Act 2022 and related legislation. The role covers higher‑risk buildings throughout design, construction and occupation phases, supporting both new and existing projects across the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert advice to statutory duty holders on Building Safety Act requirements.
• Lead inspections and ensure plans, drawings and works meet Building Regulations for mid‑ and high‑rise buildings (30 m+).
• Prepare bids, quotations and technical reports, and maintain accurate project records.
• Develop business by engaging stakeholders, generating leads and supporting business development targets.

Required profile

• Accredited RICS, CABE, CIOB or RIBA status with extensive experience on higher‑risk buildings.
• Qualified as a Registered Building Inspector Class 2F, preferably with a degree in Building Control or Building Surveying.
• Strong commercial outlook, client‑facing skills and ability to manage a busy workload.

Required skills

• Proficient use of MS Office.
• In‑depth knowledge of UK Building Regulations and the Building Safety Act 2022.
• Experience conducting building inspections and producing compliance reports.
