Senior Upstream Energy Broker

About the role

We are partnering with an entrepreneurial Lloyd’s broker to recruit a Senior Upstream Energy Broker for its expanding Energy division. The successful candidate will leverage strong experience with US and North‑American upstream risks to grow the business and eventually lead the division.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of upstream energy business, primarily focused on North America.
• Build and maintain relationships across Lloyd’s and company markets.
• Develop placement strategies and provide client advisory on complex upstream energy risks.
• Support the ongoing development of the upstream energy offering.
• Contribute to the long‑term growth and strategic direction of the division.

Required profile

• 5+ years’ experience in upstream energy insurance.
• Strong exposure to US/North‑American markets.
• Established relationships within the London market.
• Proven track record placing upstream energy programmes.
• Ambitious, commercial mindset and interest in building a business line.
